Bhagīratha’s Petition for the Descent of Gaṅgā
तस्य चिन्तयतो नित्यं धर्मेण विदितात्मनः ।
पुत्रो भगीरथो नाम जज्ञे परमधार्मिकः ॥७॥
tasya cintayato nityaṃ dharmeṇa viditātmanaḥ |
putro bhagīratho nāma jajñe paramadhārmikaḥ ||7||
जब वो दिन भर धरम के बारे में सोचता रहा, तब उस एक बेटा हुआ। नाम रखा भगीरथ। बहुत बड़ा धरम वाला बेटा था वो।
