ताटकावृत्तान्तः · The Account of Tāṭakā and the Royal Duty to Protect
विष्णुनापि पुरा राम भृगुपत्नी दृढव्रता ।
अनिन्द्रं लोकमिच्छन्ती काव्यमाता निषूदिता ॥२०॥
viṣṇunāpi purā rāma bhṛgu-patnī dṛḍha-vratā |
anindraṃ lokam icchantī kāvya-mātā niṣūditā ||20||
राम, पुराने ज़माने में एक बार हुआ यह। भार्गव ऋषि की पत्नी, काव्य की माँ, एक बहुत दृढ़ संकल्प वाली थी। उसने एक ऐसी दुनिया माँगी जहाँ इंद्र न हो। विष्णु ने उसे मार दिया था।
'O Rama! In olden times, Kavya, the mother of Sukracharya, the wife of sage Bhrigu, was destroyed by Vishnu determined to destroy Indra.'
