Having completed the prescribed vows (in respect of aswamedha), king Dasaratha together with his queens returned to the city of Ayodhya accompanied by his attendants, army and chariots.
Rāja-dharma expressed through disciplined completion of sacred vows: a ruler models self-restraint and lawful conduct by fulfilling ritual obligations before returning to royal life.
After completing the consecration-related observances connected with the Aśvamedha rites, Daśaratha returns with his queens and retinue to Ayodhyā.
Daśaratha’s discipline and dutiful adherence to prescribed vows (niyama), reflecting responsibility and respect for sacred order.
