Spoken by VasisthaSetting: Ayodhyā (implied royal-sacrificial setting)
यथा सर्वं सुविहितं न किञ्चित्परिहीयते ॥१५॥
तथा भवन्तः कुर्वन्तु प्रीतिस्निग्धेन चेतसा ।
yathā sarvaṃ suvihitaṃ na kiñcit parihīyate ||15||
tathā bhavantaḥ kurvantu prītisnigdhena cetasā |
देखो कि सब कुछ सही से सेट हो जाए। कोई काम रह न जाए। प्यार और दिल से काम करो।
Every thing should be well-managed. In whatever manner you do, not even the smallest things be left out. Carry out the work with love and affection in your hearts".
Ritual and governance succeed when execution is meticulous and the mind is softened by goodwill; negligence (parihāra) is itself a fault.
Practice of mindful completeness in daily duties; cultivate prīti (benevolence) while performing obligations.
Karma-yoga principle: outer action perfected by inner attitude (citta-śuddhi) leading toward śānti.
Īśā/Kaṭha-style emphasis on disciplined action and inner disposition as the ground for right results (phala) without negligence (pramāda).
Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa 1.13 (yajña-preparations context); Mahābhārata Śānti/Anuśāsana: injunctions on yajña being 'yathāvidhi' and 'aparīhīna'
Vedic yajña-vidhi ethos: 'yathāvidhi' performance and avoidance of 'nyūna/adhika' faults
Bālakāṇḍa: Daśaratha’s putrakāmeṣṭi preparations and Vasiṣṭha’s supervision
Anuṣṭup (śloka)
Commanding
Madhyama-gati, clear udātta on imperatives (kurvantu)
Dharma is both competence and compassion: sacred duties must be executed completely and with a benevolent attitude.
Vasiṣṭha gives final operational guidance so the sacrifice proceeds without omissions or harshness.
Sāvadhānatā (carefulness) joined with dayā (kindness): precision without coldness.
