तामुवाच ततो राम: परुषं जनसंसदि ।अमृष्यमाणा सा सीता विवेश ज्वलनं सती ।।।।
tām uvāca tato rāmaḥ paruṣaṃ janasaṃsadi | amṛṣyamāṇā sā sītā viveśa jvalanaṃ satī ||
फिर सबके सामने राम ने सीता से काफी कड़वी बातें की। सीता यह बात नहीं सुन पाई। उन्होंने अग्नि में कूद कर अपनी साफ साफ दिखाई।
