मृते तु तस्मिन्भरतो वसिष्ठप्रमुखैर्द्विजैः ॥३३॥
नियुज्यमानो राज्याय नैच्छद्राज्यं महाबलः ।
mṛte tu tasmin bharato vasiṣṭha-pramukhair dvijaiḥ ||33||
niyujyamāno rājyāya naicchad rājyaṃ mahābalaḥ |
जब दशरथ मर गए, तब वसिष्ठ और दूसरे ब्राह्मिन लोग भरत को राज्य संभालने को बोले। लेकिन भरत बड़े बलवान थे, फिर भी उन्होंने राज्य नहीं लिया।
After Dasaratha had passed away, mighty Bharata did not desire to rule the kingdom against the orders by Vasishta and other brahmins.
