Overwhelmed with grief, radiant Bharata reeling with delusion due to sorrow, lamented over the death of his father.
Dharma includes humane feeling: grief for a parent is not weakness but an expression of filial duty and truth of emotion.
Bharata is struck by the news/reality of Daśaratha’s death and begins to lament.
Pitr̥-bhakti (devotion to one’s father) and sincerity—his grief is unfeigned and morally grounded.
