अयोध्याकाण्डे द्विषष्टितमः सर्गः · Kausalyā consoles Daśaratha; grief, remorse, and nightfall
तं हि चिन्तयमानाया श्शोकोऽयं हृदि वर्धते ।
नदीनामिव वेगेन समुद्रसलिलं महत् ॥१९॥
taṃ hi cintayamānāyāḥ śoko 'yaṃ hṛdi vardhate |
nadīnām iva vegena samudra-salilaṃ mahat ||19||
जब मैं उसके बारे में सोचती हूँ, मेरा दुख और बढ़ता है। जैसे नदियाँ भाग के समुंदर में मिलती हैं और उसको बड़ा कर देती हैं, वैसा ही मेरा दिल भर रहा है।
