वो लोग उस बड़े पेड़ के नीचे अच्छी रात बिता के सोए। जब सुबह सूरज निकला, बिल्कुल साफ चमक के, तब वो वहाँ से निकल पड़े।
They (Rama, Sita and Lakshmana) spent that auspicious night under that great tree and set out from there after the bright sun rose.
Steady discipline in small acts—rest, rise, proceed—sustains dharma during hardship.
Practice of mindful beginnings: greet the day with clarity and purposeful movement (prātaḥ-smaraṇa attitude).
Sunrise as renewal of sattva and clarity; the traveler’s self remains steady while scenes change—witness-consciousness amid movement.
Imagery of light dispelling darkness: knowledge/clarity arising with the sun (common Upaniṣadic metaphor of jyotis).
Prātaḥkāla
Sunrise (sūryodaya)
Rāmacaritamānasa, Ayodhyākāṇḍa: morning departures and forest halts during exile (thematic parallel)
Vedic dawn imagery (Uṣas) as auspicious renewal
Ayodhyākāṇḍa travel episodes: repeated pattern of night halt, dawn departure, and onward movement toward sages/forests
Anuṣṭup (śloka)
