जलाघाताट्टहासोग्रां फेननिर्मलहासिनीम्।क्वचिद्वेणीकृतजलां क्वचिदावर्तशोभिताम्।।2.50.16।।
jalāghātāṭṭahāsogrāṁ phena-nirmala-hāsinīm |
kvacid veṇī-kṛta-jalāṁ kvacid āvarta-śobhitām || 2.50.16 ||
गंगा का पानी ऐसा गिर रहा था जैसे कोई ज़ोर से हँस रहा हो। उसमें झाग आ रहा था, चमक रहा था, साफ साफ। कहीं कहीं पानी सीधा चल रहा था जैसे किसी लड़की की चोटी। कहीं कहीं गोल गोल घूमे जा रहा था, बहुत अच्छा लग रहा था।
