अयोध्यावासिजनानुरागः · The People and Brahmins Follow Rama toward Exile
द्विजातींस्तु पदातींस्तान् रामश्चारित्रवत्सलः ।
न शशाक घृणाचक्षुः परिमोक्तुं रथेन सः ॥१९॥
dvijātīṃs tu padātīṃs tān rāmaś cāritra-vatsalaḥ |
na śaśāka ghṛṇā-cakṣuḥ parimoktuṃ rathena saḥ ||19||
राम ऐसे लोगों का ख्याल रखता था जो सही काम करते हैं। उसकी नज़र में सबके लिए दया थी। वो रथ में बैठ कर आगे बढ़ नहीं पाया क्योंकि वो ब्राह्मण लोग पैदल चल रहे थे। उन्हे छोड़ के जाना उसके बस का नहीं था।
