सलब्धमानैर्विनयान्वितैर्नृपैःपुरालयैर्जानपदैश्च मानदैः।उपोपविष्टैर्नृपतिर्वृतो बभौसहस्रचक्षुर्भगवानिवामरैः।।।।
sa labdhamānaiḥ vinayānvitair nṛpaiḥ purālayair jānapadaiś ca mānadaiḥ |
upopaviṣṭair nṛpatir vṛto babhau sahasracakṣur bhagavān ivāmaraiḥ ||
राजा दशरथ के चारों बेटे उसके लिए एक जैसे थे। वो चारों उसके दिल के थे, जैसे किसी के शरीर से चार बाहें निकल आयी हो। कोई बड़ा छोटा नहीं था, सब बराबर प्यारे थे।
