ई॒जा॒नानां॑ सु॒कृतां॑ लो॒कमीप्स॒न् पञ्चौ॑दनं ब्र॒ह्मणे॒ऽजं द॑दाति । स व्याऽप्तिम॒भि लो॒कं ज॑यै॒तं शि॒वो॒३ऽस्मभ्यं॒ प्रति॑गृहीतो अस्तु
ījānānā́ṃ sukṛtā́ṃ lokám īpsán pañcáudanaṃ bráhmaṇe ’jáṃ dadāti | sá vy-àptím abhí lokáṃ jayáitam śivó ’smábhyaṃ práti-gṛhīto astu ||
Seeking the world of sacrificers, of the well-doing, he giveth the fivefold rice-porridge, with a goat, unto the Brahman. So may he win this world in full attainment; auspicious for us be it, when it is duly accepted.
जो लोग यज्ञ करते हैं और अच्छे काम करते हैं, उनकी जगह पाने के लिए यह करो। ब्राह्मण को पाँच खाने वाला चावल का खाना दो, बकरे के साथ। इससे वो इस दुनिया को पूरा पा लेगा। जब यह सही तरह से लिया जाए, तो हमारे लिए भला हो।
