ṣáḍ jātā́ bhūtā́ prathamajártásya ṣáḍ u sāmā́ni ṣaḍaháṃ vahanti | ṣáḍyogáṃ sī́ram ánu sā́masāma ṣáḍ ā́hur dyā́vāpr̥thivī́ḥ ṣáḍ urvī́ḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Six beings were born of the First that moveth; six Sāman-chants bear on the six-day course. Sixfold the yoking of the plough, with chant on chant: six, they say, are Heaven and Earth—six the broad expanses.

Translation

पहले पैदा होने वाले से छह चीज़ों ने जनम लिया। छह गाने छह दिन तक चलते हैं। हल जोड़ने का भी छह तरीका है, हर गाने के साथ। लोग कहते हैं दुनिया और धरती, छह बड़े खुले एरिया हैं।
