adyá murīya yádi yātudhā́nó asmi yádi vā́yus tatápa púruṣasya | adhā́ sá vīráir daśábhir ví yūyā yó mā móghaṃ yātudhā́nety ā́ha ||
May I die this day, if I be Yātudhāna; if Vāyu have scorched the man with torment. Then may he be scattered, with ten strong men to drive him asunder, who vainly crieth of me, ‘Yātudhāna!’
Rishi: Atharvanic/Angiras attribution (traditional)
Devata: Implicitly Indra/Vāyu as powers in the background; primary force is the oath itself
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable)
Primary: vira
Secondary: raudra
