Sukta 3
सं॒व॒त्स॒रीणं॒ पय॑ उ॒स्रिया॑या॒स्तस्य॒ माशी॑द् यातु॒धानो॑ नृचक्षः । पी॒यूष॑मग्ने यत॒मस्तितृ॑प्सा॒त् तं प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म॒र्चिषा॑ विध्य॒ मर्म॑णि
saṃvatsarī́ṇaṃ páya usríyāyās tásya māśī́d yātudhā́no nṛcákṣaḥ | pīyū́ṣam agne yátamo títṛpsāt táṃ pratyáñcam arcíṣā vidhya mármaṇi
The year-aged milk of the ruddy cow—thereof let not the man-watching Yātudhāna partake. Whosoever, O Agni, would glut himself on the ambrosial sweetness, him, turned back, with thy flame pierce at the vital spot.
गाय का दूध जो एक साल पुराना हो, उसमें जो जादू करने वाले घुस के पीना चाहें, वो न पीएँ। अग्नि, जो भी उस अमृत जैसा मीठा दूध अपनी प्यास बुझाने की कोशिश करे, तुम उसकी आग से उसको वापस भगा दो। उसकी कमज़ोर जगह पे मारो।
