अरिष्टक्षयणम्। अ॒मून् हे॒तिः प॑त॒त्रिणी॒ न्येऽतु॒ यदुलू॑को॒ वद॑ति मो॒घमे॒तत्। यद् वा॑ क॒पोत॑ प॒दम॒ग्नौ कृ॒णोति॑
ariṣṭa-kṣáyaṇam | amū́n hetíḥ patatríṇī ny ètu yád ulū́ko vádati mógham etát | yád vā kapóta padám agnáu kṛṇóti ||
Averting ill. Let yonder winged missile pass away and down: when the owl crieth, vain be this; or when, O pigeon, thou makest thy footprint in the fire.
यह मंत्र बुराई हटाता है। वो उड़ने वाला तीर नीचे गिर जाए। उल्लू की आवाज़ सुन के, वो बेकार हो जाए। कबूतर, अगर तुम आग में पाँव रख दो, वो भी बेकार हो जाए।
