Sukta 13
मृत्युजयः। नमो॑ देवव॒धेभ्यो॒ नमो॑ राजव॒धेभ्यः॑ । अथो॒ ये विश्या॑नां व॒धास्तेभ्यो॑ मृत्यो॒ नमो॑ऽस्तु ते
námo devavadhébhyo námo rājavadhébhyaḥ | átho yé viśyā́nāṃ vadhā́s tébhyo mṛ́tyo námo astu te
Obeisance to the death-dealings of the gods; obeisance to the death-dealings of kings; and also to those death-dealings that are of the common folk—to them, O Death, be obeisance unto thee.
यह मृत्यु को जानने का मंत्र है। मैं भगवान के मरने को नमस्ते करता हूँ। राजा लोगों के मरने को भी नमस्ते। और जो आम लोग मरते हैं, उनको भी नमस्ते। हे मृत्यु, तुझे नमस्ते है।
