Sukta 31
यां ते॑ च॒क्रुः पु॑रुषा॒स्थे अ॒ग्नौ संक॑सुके च॒ याम्। म्रो॒कं नि॑र्दा॒हं क्र॒व्यादं॒ पुनः॒ प्रति॑ हरामि॒ ताम्
yā́ṃ te cakrúḥ púruṣāsthe agnáu sáṃkasuke ca yā́m | mrokáṃ nirdāháṃ kravyā́daṃ púnaḥ práti harāmi tā́m ||
What they have wrought against thee on a man’s seat, what in the fire, and what in the saṃkasuka; the wasting, the consuming burn, the flesh-devouring power—this do I take and bear back again in return.
दुश्मनों ने किसी आदमी की सीट पर जादू किया है। आग में भी जादू किया। उन्होंने ऐसा जादू किया जो नशा करे, जले और मांस खाए। मैं अब उस सब को वापस ले जा रहा हूँ उनकी तरफ।
