Sukta 29
ता॒र्ष्टा॒घीर॑ग्ने स॒मिधः॒ प्रति॑ गृह्णाह्य॒र्चिषा॑ । जहा॑तु क्र॒व्याद् रू॒पं यो अ॑स्य मां॒सं जिही॑र्षति
tārṣṭāghī́r agne samídhaḥ práti gṛhṇāhy arcíṣā | jahā́tu kravyā́d rūpáṃ yó asya māṃsáṃ jihī́rṣati ||
These keen-smiting kindling-sticks, O Agni, take to thee with thy flame. Let the flesh-eater quit the form—whoso would fain seize this man’s flesh.
अग्नि, यह लकड़ियाँ बहुत तेज़ है। इन्हें अपनी आग के साथ ले ले। जो कोई भी इंसान का मांस खाना चाहता है, उसको यहाँ से भगा दे। उसका रूप टूट जाए और वो भाग जाए।
