Sukta 23
अ॒त्रि॒वद् वः॑ क्रिमयो हन्मि कण्व॒वज्ज॑मदग्नि॒वत्। अ॒गस्त्य॑स्य॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ सं पि॑नष्म्य॒हं क्रिमी॑न्
atrí-vad váḥ krímayo hanmi kaṇvá-vaj jamadagní-vat | agástyasya bráhmaṇā sáṃ pinaṣmy aháṃ krimī́n ||
Atri-like I smite you, O worms; Kaṇva-like, Jamadagni-like. With Agastya’s brahman I utterly crush the worms—I, in mine own person.
अत्रि रिशि की तरह मैं तुम्हे मारता हूँ, कीड़े। कण्व और जमदग्नि की तरह भी। अगस्त्य रिशि के शब्द से मैं इन कीड़ों को कुचल देता हूँ, खुद अपने हाथ से।
