Sukta 19
न व॒र्षं मै॑त्रावरु॒णं ब्र॑ह्म॒ज्यम॒भि व॑र्षति । नास्मै॒ समि॑तिः कल्पते॒ न मि॒त्रं न॑यते॒ वश॑म्
ná varṣáṃ maitrāvaruṇáṃ brahmajyám abhí varṣati | nā́smái samítiḥ kalpate ná mitráṃ nayate váśam ||
No Mitra-Varuṇa rain raineth upon the Brahman-slayer; for him no assembly is made ready; no friend bringeth (aught) under his control.
उस पर मित्र-वरुण की बारिश भी नहीं बरसता जो ब्राह्मण को मारता है। उसके लिए कोई सभा नहीं बिठती। कोई दोस्त उसका काम नहीं संभालता।
