Sukta 18
गौरे॒व तान् ह॒न्यमा॑ना वैतह॒व्याँ अवा॑तिरत्। ये केस॑रप्राबन्धायाश्चर॒माजा॒मपे॑चिरन्
gaúr iva tā́n hányamānā vaitahavyā́n avā́tirat | yé kesara-prā́bandhāyāś caramā́jām ápeciran ||
Like a cow, smiting them, she bore the Vaitahavyas down—those who had driven off the last goat of her, the tuft-bound (marked) one.
गाय जैसे ही उन पे वार किया, वैतहव्य लोग गिर गए। उन्होंने उस गाय का आखरी बकरा भी ले लिया था, जिसके बाल बाँधे हुए थे। वो लोग गाय के पीछे-पीछे थे, और गाय ने उन्हे कुचल दिया।
