Sukta 8
यद॒साव॒मुतो॑ देवा अदे॒वः संश्चिकी॑र्षति । मा तस्या॒ग्निर्ह॒व्यं वा॑क्षी॒द्धवं॑ दे॒वा अ॑स्य॒ मोप॑ गु॒र्ममै॒व हव॒मेत॑न
yád asā́v amúto devā́ adeváḥ sáṃścikīrṣati | mā́ tásyāgnír havyaṃ vā́kṣīd hávaṃ devā́ asyá mópa gúḥ | mámā́iva hávam ítana ||
If yonder godless man from there devise some deed, O Gods—let not his Agni bear the oblation, nor his call. O Gods, go not unto him: to my call alone do ye resort.
अगर कोई बुरा आदमी वहाँ से कोई बुरी चाल चलाता है, तो भगवान उसकी अग्नि उसका ऑफरिंग न ले। उसकी आवाज़ सुनो मत। भगवान, उसके पास मत जाओ। सिर्फ मेरी आवाज़ सुनो और मेरे पास आओ।
