हाथी जैसी चमक और तेज फैल जाए, बड़ी बड़ाई वाली। यह अदिति की शक्ति है जो शरीर से निकली। सारे भगवान मिलकर मुझे यह बड़ी शक्ति दे, अदिति भी साथ में।

मित्र और वरुण, इंद्र और रुद्र, सब ध्यान दें। सारे भगवान जो दुनिया संभालते हैं, वो मुझे तेज चमक से भरें।

येन॑ ह॒स्ती वर्च॑सा संब॒भूव॒ येन॒ राजा॑ मनु॒ष्येऽष्व॒प्स्व॑१न्तः । येन॑ दे॒वा दे॒वता॒मग्र आय॒न् तेन॒ माम॒द्य वर्च॒साग्ने॑ वर्च॒स्विनं॑ कृणु
हाथी में जो तेज चमक है, राजा में जो बड़ाई है लोगों के बीच, घोड़ों में, पानी में, उसी शक्ति से भगवान भी भगवान बने। अग्नि, आज उसी शक्ति से मुझे भी तेज चमक वाला बना दे।

जातवेदस अग्नि, तेरी जो शक्ति है, यज्ञ में बड़ी हो जाती है। सूरज जैसी चमक, असुर जैसी शक्ति, हाथी जैसी चमक, अश्विन भगवान, कमल फूल वाले, उतनी शक्ति मुझे भी दे दो।

जितनी दूर नज़र जाती है चारों तरफ, उतनी शक्ति मुझमे आनी चाहिए। इंद्र जैसी ताकत मेरे अंदर आए, पूरी तरह। हाथी जैसी चमक और बल मेरे पास हो।
