Sukta 4
अच्छ॑ त्वा यन्तु ह॒विनः॑ सजा॒ता अ॒ग्निर्दू॒तो अ॑जि॒रः सं च॑रातै । जा॒याः पु॒त्राः सु॒मन॑सो भवन्तु ब॒हुं ब॒लिं प्रति॑ पश्यासा उ॒ग्रः
áccha tvā yantu havínaḥ sajātā́ agnír dūtó ajiráḥ sáṃ carātai | jāyā́ḥ putrā́ḥ sumánaso bhavantu bahúṃ balíṃ práti paśyāsi ugráḥ
Unto thee let offerers come, thy kinsmen bringing gifts; let Agni, swift messenger, move to and fro in concord. Let wives and sons be kindly-minded; and, mighty one, mayest thou behold much tribute coming in return.
यह दुआ है कि लोग तुम्हारे पास आएं और अपना-सा कुछ ले कर आएं। अग्नि जो भगवान का मैसेज ले के जल्दी चलता है, वो सबको साथ लाकर मिला दे। बीवी और बेटे का दिल अच्छा रहे। और तुम्हे बहुत लोग अपना सम्मान दे कर दिखें।
