शत्रुसेनासंमोहनम्। अ॒ग्निर्नो॑ दू॒तः प्र॒त्येतु॑ वि॒द्वान् प्र॑ति॒दह॑न्न॒भिश॑स्ति॒मरा॑तिम्। स चि॒त्तानि॑ मोहयतु॒ परे॑षां॒ निर्ह॑स्तांश्च कृणवज्जा॒तवे॑दाः
यह भी दुश्मन की सेना को घबरा देने का मंत्र है। अग्नि हमारा पैग्याम ले के जाए, जो भी बुरा कोई हम पे बोला है उसे जला के लौटा दे। जातवेदस दुश्मन के इरादे उलझ दे, उनका दिमाग काम न करे। उनके हाथ बंध हो जाएँ, जैसे कोई ताकत ही न रहे।

अ॒यम॒ग्निर॑मूमुह॒द् यानि॑ चि॒त्तानि॑ वो हृ॒दि। वि वो॑ धम॒त्वोक॑सः॒ प्र वो॑ धमतु स॒र्वतः॑
अग्नि तुम्हारे दिल में जो भी सोच है, उसको उलझ दे। तुम्हारे घर से उसको हटा दे, बाहर फेंक दे। चारों तरफ से साफ कर दे, कुछ नहीं बचना चाहिए।

इन्द्र॑ चि॒त्तानि॑ मो॒हय॑न्न॒र्वाङाकू॑त्या चर । अ॒ग्नेर्वात॑स्य॒ ध्राज्या॒ तान् विषू॑चो॒ वि ना॑शय
इंद्र, दुश्मन के दिमाग घुमा दे, उनकी सोच उलझ जाए। आगे बढ़, अपना काम कर। अग्नि और पवन की चमक से उनको बिखेर दे। जो लोग हमारे खिलाफ हैं, उनको पूरा खत्म कर दे।

व्याऽकूतय एषामि॒ताथो॑ चि॒त्तानि॑ मुह्यत । अथो॒ यद॒द्यैषां॑ हृदि तदे॑षां॒ परि॒ निर्ज॑हि
इन दुश्मनों का इरादा बिगाड़ दे, उनकी सोच घुमा दे। आज जो भी उनके दिल में है, उसको बाहर निकाल दे। पूरा भगा दे, कुछ नहीं रखना।

अ॒मीषां॑ चि॒त्तानि॑ प्रतिमो॒हय॑न्ती गृहा॒णाङ्गा॑न्यप्वे॒ परे॑हि । अ॒भि प्रेहि॒ निर्द॑ह हृ॒त्सु शोकै॒र्ग्राह्या॒मित्रां॒स्तम॑सा विध्य॒ शत्रू॑न्
अप्वा नाम की शक्ति को बुलाया जा रहा है। वो दूसरों के दिमाग घुमा दे। घर के लोगों पर हमला करे। दुश्मन के दिल में ग़म भर दे। इन दुश्मनों को अंधेरे में डाल दे। एक दूसरे को पहचान न पाएँ।

अ॒सौ या सेना॑ मरुतः॒ परे॑षाम॒स्मा॑नैत्य॒भ्योज॑सा॒ स्पर्ध॑माना । तां वि॑ध्यत॒ तम॒साप॑व्रतेन॒ यथै॑षाम॒न्यो अ॒न्यं न जा॒नात्
मरुत देवताओं से प्रार्थना है। जो सेना हमारे ऊपर आ रही है, उसको अंधेरे में डाल दो। इतना अंधेरा हो कि अपने ही लोग एक दूसरे को जान न पाएँ। सब कन्फ्यूज्ड हो जाएँ।
