Sukta 57
कण्वे॑भिर्धृष्ण॒वा धृ॒षद् वाजं॑ दर्षि सह॒स्रिण॑म्। पि॒शङ्ग॑रूपं मघवन् विचर्षणे म॒क्षू गोम॑न्तमीमहे
kaṇvébhir dhṛṣṇavā dhṛṣád vā́jaṃ darṣi sahasríṇam | piśáṅgarūpaṃ maghavan vicarṣaṇe mákṣu gómantam īmahe ||
With the Kaṇvas, O bold one, thou grantest boldly the prize, thousandfold. The tawny-formed, O bounteous, far-seeing one—quickly we implore thee for cattle-rich gain.
हे बहुत हिम्मत वाले, कण्व रिशियों के साथ तुम बहुत बड़ा इनाम देते हो। हज़ारों गुना देते हो। हे धन देने वाले, तुम्हारा रंग पीला है और तुम दूर तक देख सकते हो। हम जल्दी से माँगते हैं कि तुम हमें गाँव और गाय दो।
