Sukta 54
ने॒मिं न॑मन्ति॒ चक्ष॑सा मे॒षं विप्रा॑ अभि॒स्वरा॑ । सु॒दी॒तयो॑ वो अ॒द्रुहोऽपि॒ कर्णे॑ तर॒स्विनः॒ समृक्व॑भिः
némim namanti cákṣasā méṣaṃ víprā abhí-svarāḥ | su-dītáyo vo ádruho 'pí kárṇe tarásvinaḥ sám-ṛkvabhiḥ
As men bend the wheel-rim with the eye, so the inspired, lifting voice, (their hymns) well-kindled—harmless—may they, with the united ṛk-singers, reach even to the ear of the impetuous One.
जैसे कोई इंसान गड्डी का टायर अपनी नज़र से सीधा करता है, वैसे ही रिशि लोग अपनी आवाज़ उठाते हैं। उनके गाने ठीक से जलते हैं और किसी को नुकसान नहीं करते। वो ताकत वाले भगवान तक उनकी आवाज़ पहुँचती है जब वो सब मिलकर गाते हैं।
