Sukta 125
न॒हि स्थूर्यृ॑तु॒था या॒तमस्ति॒ नोत श्रवो॑ विविदे संग॒मेषु॑ । ग॒व्यन्त॒ इन्द्रं॑ स॒ख्याय॒ विप्रा॑ अश्वा॒यन्तो॒ वृष॑णं वा॒जय॑न्तः
ná hí sthū́ri ṛtúthā yā́tam ásti nót śrávo vivíde saṅgaméṣu | gavyánta índraṃ sakhyā́ya víprā aśvāyánto vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ vājáyantaḥ
For, O Stūri, there is no timely coming so, nor is fame won in the encounters: the inspired, seeking cattle, seek Indra for friendship—seeking horses, the Bull, striving for the prize.
स्तूरि, ऐसे वक्त पे आना ज़रूरी है। बिना मेहनत के नाम नहीं मिलता। जो लोग गाय और घोड़े ढूंढ़ते हैं, वो इंद्र से दोस्ती करते हैं। इंद्र जो है, वो बड़ा बलवान है और जीत के लिए लड़ता है।
