मा भू॑म॒ निष्ट्या॑ इ॒वेन्द्र॒ त्वदर॑णा इव । वना॑नि॒ न प्र॑जहि॒तान्य॑द्रिवो दु॒रोषा॑सो अमन्महि
हे इंद्र, हम ऐसे ना हो जैसे कोई घर नहीं छोड़ा हो। ना ऐसे हो जैसे कोई तेरे बिना बिल्कुल अकेला हो। जैसे जंगल को छोड़ दिया हो, ऐसा ना हो। हम अपनी जगह पर रहना चाहते हैं। तू है तो हम सेफ हैं।

अम॑न्म॒हीद॑ना॒शवो॑ऽनु॒ग्रास॑श्च वृत्रहन्। सु॒कृत्सु ते॑ मह॒ता शू॑र॒ राध॒सानु॒ स्तोमं॑ मुदीमहि
इंद्र को बोल रहे हैं, तुम कोई भी नहीं हरा सकते। तुम दुश्मन भी मारते हो और अपनों पे भी मेहरबानी करते हो। जो लोग सही काम करते हैं, उनमे तुम बड़े हो। तुम्हारी बड़ी दौलत है, इसलिए हम तुम्हारे लिए गाना गाते हैं।
