Sukta 58
व्र॒जं कृ॑णुध्वं॒ स हि वो॑ नृ॒पाणो॒ वर्मा॑ सीव्यध्वं बहु॒ला पृ॒थूनि॑ । पुरः॑ कृणुध्व॒माय॑सी॒रधृ॑ष्टा॒ मा वः॑ सुस्रोच्चम॒सो दृं॑हता॒ तम्
vrajáṃ kṛṇudhvaṃ sá hí vo nṛpā́ṇo vármā sīvyadhvaṃ bahulā́ pṛthū́ni | púraḥ kṛṇudhvam ā́yasīr ádhṛṣṭā mā́ vaḥ susróccam-aso dṛṃhata tám
Build ye the enclosure—for that is your men’s defence; sew ye on armour, many and broad. Make ye your ramparts, iron, unassailable: let not the high-crying foes make that to totter; make it firm.
अपने लोगों के लिए दीवार और मज़बूत बाँध बनाओ। बहुत सारी सुरक्षा की चीज़ें पहन लो जो चौड़ी हों। लोहे से बनी ramparts बनाओ जो कोई तोड़ न सके। दुश्मन चिल्लाके आए तो भी यह हिलना नहीं चाहिए, मज़बूत रहे।
