Sukta 4
ती॒र्थैस्त॑रन्ति प्र॒वतो॑ म॒हीरिति॑ यज्ञ॒कृतः॑ सु॒कृतो॒ येन॒ यन्ति॑ । अत्रा॑दधु॒र्यज॑मानाय लो॒कं दिशो॑ भू॒तानि॒ यदक॑ल्पयन्त
tī́rthaís taranti praváto mahī́r íti yajñakṛ́taḥ sukṛ́to yéna yánti | átrā́dadhuḥ yájamānāya lokáṃ díśo bhūtā́ni yád ákalpayanta
‘By the fords they cross the mighty slopes’: thus go the sacrifice-makers, the well-deserving, by that same way. Here have they established for the Sacrificer a world, when the Directions and the Beings set all in order.
नदी के किनारों से बड़े पहाड़ पार किए जाते हैं। यज्ञ करने वाले, अच्छे काम करने वाले, इसी रास्ते जाते हैं। यहाँ यज्ञ करने वाले के लिए एक जगह बना दी। सब दिशाओं ने, सब जीवों ने, मिलके यह काम किया।
