Sukta 4
इ॒दं हिर॑ण्यं बिभृहि॒ यत् ते॑ पि॒ताबि॑भः पु॒रा। स्व॒र्गं य॒तः पि॒तुर्हस्तं॒ निर्मृ॑ड्ढि॒ दक्षि॑णम्
idáṃ híraṇyaṃ bibhṛhi yát te pitā́bibháḥ purā́ | svargáṃ yatáḥ pitúr hástaṃ nírmṛḍḍhi dákṣiṇam
Bear thou this gold, which erst thy father wore of old. From the Father’s hand, whence heaven is won, cleanse thou the right (hand/side) from harm.
यह सोना ले लो, जो तुम्हारा बाप पहले पहनता था। बाप के हाथ से स्वर्ग मिलता है, उस्से साफ करो और बुराई दूर करो।
