Sukta 4
ग्रैष्मा॑वेनं॒ मासौ॒ दक्षि॑णाया दि॒शो गो॑पायतो यज्ञाय॒ज्ञियं॑ च वामदे॒व्यं चानु॑ तिष्ठतो॒ य ए॒वं वेद॑
graiṣmáu enam mā́sau dákṣiṇāyā diśó gopāyato yajñāyajñíyaṃ ca vāmadevyàṃ cā́nu tiṣṭhato yá eváṃ véda
The two summer months guard him from the southern quarter; and Yajñāyajñiya and Vāmadevya stand attendant upon him—whoso thus knoweth.
गर्मी के दो महीने उसकी हिफाज़त करते हैं दखिन की तरफ से। यज्ञायज्ञिय और वामदेव्य उसके पास खड़े रहते हैं जो भी यह बात जानता है।
