अवि॒र्वै नाम॑ दे॒वत॒र्तेना॑स्ते॒ परी॑वृता । तस्या॑ रू॒पेणे॒मे वृ॒क्षा हरि॑ता॒ हरि॑तस्रजः
avíḥ váí nā́ma devátā ṛténa ā́ste párīvṛtā | tásyā rūpéṇéme vṛ́kṣā hárītā háritasrajaḥ
‘Avī’ by name is a Deity: with Ṛta she sitteth, encompassed round. In her very form are these trees—green, green-garlanded.
अवि नाम की एक देवी है जो र्त के साथ बैठती है, उसके चारों तरफ है यह सब। उसी के रूप में यह पेड़ है, हरे, हरे फूलों वाले। यह पेड़ उसी देवी की शक्ति से हरे भरे दिखते हैं।
