ए॒षा स॒नत्नी॒ सन॑मे॒व जा॒तैषा पु॑रा॒णी परि॒ सर्वं॑ बभूव । म॒ही दे॒व्यु॑१षसो॑ विभा॒ती सैके॑नैकेन मिष॒ता वि च॑ष्टे
eṣā́ sanatnī́ sánam evá jātā́ eṣā́ purāṇī́ pári sárvaṃ babhūva | mahī́ devy ùṣásaḥ vibhātī́ sā́ ékena ékena míṣatā ví caṣṭe
This is the ancient one, born from of old; this primeval one hath encompassed all around. Great is the Goddess—Dawn—shining forth: she, one by one, beholds distinctly the living that blink.
