Sukta 8
इ॒यं क॑ल्या॒ण्य॑१जरा॒ मर्त्य॑स्या॒मृता॑ गृ॒हे। यस्मै॑ कृ॒ता शये॒ स यश्च॒कार॑ ज॒जार॒ सः
iyáṃ kalyā́ṇy àjarā mártyasyā́mṛtā gṛhé | yásmai kṛtā́ śáye sá yáś cakā́ra jajā́ra sáḥ ||
This auspicious Power, unaging, immortal, lies in the mortal’s house. For whom she is made to lie—he thrives; but he who made her, he is worn with age.
एक अच्छी शक्ति है जो कभी बूढ़ी नहीं होती, मरने वाली नहीं। वो इंसान के घर में रहती है। जिसके लिए वो बैठी होती है, वो आगे बढ़ता है। पर जिसने उसे बनाया, वो बूढ़ा हो गया।
