प्रि॒या॒प्रि॒याणि॑ बहु॒ला स्वप्नं॑ संबाधत॒न्द्यः॑ । आ॒न॒न्दानु॒ग्रो नन्दां॑श्च॒ कस्मा॑द् वहति॒ पूरु॑षः
priyā́priyā́ṇi bahulā́ svápnaṃ saṃbādhá-tandyàḥ | ānandā́nugro nándāṃś ca kásmād vahati pū́ruṣaḥ
Pleasant and unpleasant things, manifold; sleep, oppression and drowsiness; joys that follow on, and gladnesses—whence is it that the Person bears these along?
अच्छी चीज़ें और बुरी चीज़ें, बहुत सारी चीज़ें आती हैं। नींद आती है, दबाव महसूस होता है, आँखें भारी होती हैं। खुशी आती है, और उसके साथ और खुशियाँ भी। यह सब इंसान के अंदर आता है। सवाल यह है कि यह सब कहाँ से आता है?
