वृद्धमित्रो ह्यमित्रोद्धारी पार्ष्णिग्राहमुच्छिन्द्यात् नेतरः स्वपक्षोपघाती ॥
vṛddhamitro hy amitroddhārī pārṣṇigrāham ucchindyāt na itaraḥ svapakṣopaghātī
पुराना दोस्त अगर अभी दुश्मन को उठा रहा है, तो उसको पीछे वाले दुश्मन को हटाना चाहिए। दूसरी तरफ जाना अपने ही लोगों को नुकसान देगा।
