स्वयं बन्धुभिर्वा पुत्रभावोपगत उपगतः ॥ कZ_०३.७.१६ ॥
svayaṃ bandhubhir vā putrabhāvopagata upagataḥ
जब कोई खुद से या अपने रिश्तेदारों के ज़रिये बेटे की तरह मान लिया जाता है, उसे उपगत बेटा कहते हैं। यह वो बंदा है जो घर में बेटे जैसा बन गया है।
