dvādaśavarṣā strī prāptavyavahārā bhavati ṣoḍaśavarṣaḥ pumān
लड़की जब बारह साल की हो जाती है, वो कानूनी काम के लिए तैयार मानी जाती है। और लड़का जब सोलह साल का हो जाता है, उसके लिए यही रूल है।
