क्षुद्रपशुमनुष्यपथं रुन्धतो द्वादशपणो दण्डः महापशुपथं चतुर्विंशतिपणः हस्तिक्षेत्रपथं चतुष्पञ्चाशत्पणः सेतुवनपथं षट्शतः श्मशानग्रामपथं द्विशतः द्रोणमुखपथं पञ्चशतः स्थानीयराष्ट्रविवीतपथं साहस्रः ॥ कZ_०३.१०.०५ ॥
kṣudrapaśumanuṣyapathaṃ rundhato dvādaśapaṇo daṇḍaḥ mahāpaśupathaṃ caturviṃśatipaṇaḥ hastikṣetrapathaṃ catuṣpañcāśatpaṇaḥ setuvanapathaṃ ṣaṭśataḥ śmaśānagrāmapathaṃ dviśataḥ droṇamukhapathaṃ pañcaśataḥ sthānīyarāṣṭravivītapathaṃ sāhasraḥ
अगर कोई छोटी रास्ता रोके जहाँ आदमी और छोटे जानवर जाते हैं, तो 12 पण जुर्माना। बड़े जानवरों के रास्ते के लिए 24 पण। हाथी के रास्ते के लिए 54 पण। जंगल या बाँध के रास्ते के लिए 600 पण। श्मशान या गाँव के रास्ते के लिए 200 पण। द्रोणमुख के रास्ते के लिए 500 पण। और अगर कोई ज़िला या सीमा का रास्ता रोके, तो 1000 पण लगता है।
