Sukta 7.30
हवन्त उ त्वा हव्यं विवाचि तनूषु शूराः सूर्यस्य सातौ । त्वं विश्वेषु सेन्यो जनेषु त्वं वृत्राणि रन्धया सुहन्तु ॥
hávanta u tvā havyáṃ vívāci tanū́ṣu śūrā́ḥ sū́ryasya sātáu | tváṃ víśveṣu sényo jáneṣu tváṃ vṛtrā́ṇi randhayā suhántu ||
Log tumhe pukarte hain, Indra. Yeh bahadur log apni jaan laga ke Surya jeetne ke liye tumhe bulate hain. Tum sab logon mein sabse bade yodha ho. Tum dushmanon ko, raste mein khade logon ko, gira dete ho. Tum unhe maar dalte ho, sab theek kar dete ho.
