Sukta 3.34
मखस्य ते तविषस्य प्र जूतिमियर्मि वाचममृताय भूषन् । इन्द्र क्षितीनामसि मानुषीणां विशां दैवीनामुत पूर्वयावा ॥
makhásya te taviṣásya prá jū́tim íyarmi vā́cam amṛ́tāya bhū́ṣan | índra kṣitī́nām asi mā́nuṣīṇāṃ viśā́ṃ daivī́nām utá pū́rva-yāvā ||
Main tumhari shakti ki prarthana kar raha hoon. Yeh prarthana amrit jaisi hai, kabhi khatam nahi hoti. Indra, tum insanon ke raja ho. Bhagwan log bhi tumhare peeche chalte hain. Tum sabse aage chalte ho, rasta dikhate ho.
Soma praise to intensify Indra’s ‘jūti’ (driving impetus) and align speech with amṛta (immortality); used where leadership, precedence, and victorious forward motion are sought.
amṛta (immortality) as goal of inspired speech, Indra as leader of both human and divine orders, speech (vāc) as instrument of ascent
Indra as pūrvayāvā embodies ṛta as right guidance and precedence of the true light.
Vāc adorned for amṛta implies truth-speech as a means of transformation.
The ‘launch’ of force through speech—creative action of the Word.
Mantra-śakti orientation; integral psychology of inner gods as powers of consciousness.
Jūti = prāṇic and mental forward drive disciplined by higher intelligence; habitations = stable patterns of life brought under luminous rule.
Consecrate speech and intention; feel a forward thrust of higher intelligence leading the whole nature.
viśuddha (purified speech)
Ujjāyī light, 9 slow breaths; then chant with smooth, unbroken exhale.
Guided dynamism—calm force moving forward under a higher lead.
Speak inwardly a clear sankalpa, then chant once or thrice; after chanting, observe whether the mind ‘goes first’ (pūrvayāvā) before emotion and impulse.
Maintain Vedic accent peaks on marked syllables; keep ‘pra’ and ‘jūtim’ crisp to convey forward launch.
Do not rush the first pāda—let ‘pra jūtim’ be clearly articulated; keep long vowels: (amṛtāya), (mānuṣīṇām).
: kh as aspirated velar; not ‘k’., : v is soft labiodental; ṣ retroflex., : ṛ is vocalic; keep short a at end of -ya., : long ū and ā; split pūr-va-yā-vā clearly.
Clear, leading, slightly elevated; like a call that orders the inner forces.
