Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (requires anukramaṇī for precision)
Devata: Indra (Sutrāmā)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like
Yeh ek chhota sa mantra hai jismein Indra ko bulaya gaya hai. Indra ko yahan Sutrama kaha gaya hai, matlab accha rakshak. Is mantra mein prayarthi ke dushman aur bura bhav ko door bhagane ki prayarthi hai. Indra se dua hai ki woh nafrat aur dvesh ko bahut door kar de. Saath hi, yeh prarthi ke liye accha mahaul aur apas mein pyar mangta hai. Indra ki kripa se hi sab shanti aur suraksha milti hai.
To push hostility (dveṣa) away from the reciter/community and to establish auspicious concord and goodwill (saumanasya) under Indra’s protection.
Sutrāmā highlights Indra as a reliable protector—one who provides a “good safeguard,” not only against dangers but also against social hostility and discord.
No substances are mentioned in the verse; it can be used as a simple śānti recitation, ideally with a shared intention of reconciliation and unity.
