Yeh ek ilaj wala mantra hai jo Yakshma rog ko pakadta hai. Yakshma matlab wo rog jo body ko kha jaata hai. Isme vidradha, balasa aur red inflammation jaise rog bataye hain. Mantra ek jadi buti ko taakat deta hai rog ko jadd se ukhadne ke liye. Cipudru naam ki dawai ka use karke rog ko body se bahar bhagaya jaata hai. Chupa hua Yakshma rog ko neeche ki taraf bhaga diya jaata hai. Yeh rog ko puri tarah khatam karne ke liye bola gaya hai.
Mantra 1
Yeh rog ko khatam karne ki dua hai. Phode, khasi, aur laal daage, vanaspati bhagwan, tum unko mita do. Jadi buti, tum bimaari ka koi nishan mat chodo, kuch bhi nahi.
Mantra 2
Balaas, tumhari jo dono cheezein pakad ke baithi hain, bagal mein aur andkosh mein. Main unka ilaaj jaanta hoon. Cipudru naam ki jadi, jo theek karti hai.
Mantra 3
Jo bimaari haath mein hai, kaan mein hai, aankhon mein hai. Hum usko phaad ke nikaal dete hain, woh phoda, woh dil ki bimaari. Us chhupa huye rog ko hum bahut door bhej dete hain, neeche gira dete hain.
Yakṣma is a wasting, lingering disease-category in Atharvavedic medicine, often treated as a harmful force that must be expelled—especially when it is ‘unknown’ (ajñāta) or hidden in the body.
In the Atharvaveda, medicinal plants are personified as living healers whose power can be invoked by mantra; the herb is treated as an agent that searches out illness and removes it.
The hymn combines (1) naming and locating the disorder, (2) activating a specific remedy (cīpudru), and (3) a forceful ‘tearing out’ and banishing of disease—sending it downward and far away so it cannot remain or return.
