Yeh mantra Indra ji ki stuti hai, jo Rigved se liya gaya hai. Isme Indra ji ko bulaya jata hai ki woh humare paas aayein aur humein rakhein. Indra ji ko aasman ke swami aur inaam dene wale ke roop mein pukara gaya hai. Som yagya ke zariye Indra ki shakti ko badhaya jata hai. Yeh mantra jeet aur shakti deta hai jo yagya karte hain. Indra ji apni taakat se raste ke saare rukawatein door karte hain. Isse yagya karne wale logon ki kismat mazboot hoti hai. Indra ji humare liye vijay aur sukh laate hain.

For paustika increase—strength, victory, success, and fame—by invoking Indra as a close, benevolent protector and giver of prizes; it can also be used secondarily for protection (rakṣā).
No. The hymn uses Soma language because it is RV-derived Indra praise, but in Atharvavedic standalone use it can be recited without substances; optional water for peace or a simple lamp may be added as customary supports.
That praise and sustained invocation ‘increase’ Indra (sadā-vṛdh), and an increased Indra grants tangible outcomes—victory, vāja (vigor/prize), and śravas (reputation)—while providing broad, stabilizing protection.
