Devata: Sūrya (as punitive heat/śóciḥ).
Is mantra mein Surya ki tejata ko hathiyar banaya gaya hai. Jo hamse nafrat karta hai, uski taraf se bura sapne wapas bheje jaate hain. Surya ki garmi dushman ko jala deti hai aur usko bhaga deti hai. Isme Surya ki kirnein, aag aur tez prakash ka prayog hota hai. Yeh mantra padne wale ko raksha deta hai. Bura log apni hi buri hawa me phans jaate hain.
Mantra 1
Yeh mantra dushman ko khatam karne ke liye hai. Hey Surya, tumhari jo garmi hai, usse us aadmi ko tapao jo humse dushmani rakhta hai. Jise hum bhi apna dushman samajhte hain, usko tum wapas garmi se jala do.

Hey Surya, tumhari jo aag hai, usse us aadmi ko jala do jo humse nafrat karta hai. Jise hum bhi apna dushman maante hain, usko tum aag se charo.
It is used to repel hostility and return harmful intent to the person who directs it, by invoking Sūrya’s scorching radiance as the agent of reversal.
Not in the cited verses. The hymn primarily treats Sūrya’s heat and rays (tejas) as the operative power, so recitation and intention are central.
During daylight—especially at sunrise or in strong sunlight—because the ritual logic depends on aligning the mantra’s action with Sūrya’s manifest radiance.
