Is mantra mein Kam dev ko bulaya ja raha hai. Woh pehla ichcha ka bij hai jo sab kuchh banane ka shuru tha. Yajman ke liye yeh mantra dhan aur samriddhi laata hai. Jab apni ichcha us pehle srishti ke saath jud jaati hai, to sapne sach ho jaate hain. Yeh mantra duur se bhi asha ko paas laata hai. Kam dev ko bhog lagakar yeh ichcha kabhi khatam nahi hoti.
Mantra 1
Shuru mein kama paida hua, mann ki pehli ichha thi woh. Hey Kama, tu badi ichha ke saath humein dhan aur samriddhi de. Yeh yagya karne wale ke liye hai.
Mantra 2
Yeh mantra Kaam devta ke liye hai. Kaam bahut taakatwala hai, sabpe uska raaj hai. Woh dosto ka sachha saathi ban jaata hai. Ladai mein woh dushmano pe jeet paata hai. Yeh shakti aur taakat yagya karne wale ko de.
Mantra 3
Jab koi door se aata hai, uska haath pakadne ke liye, uske liye jo kuch bhi mile woh khatam na ho. Us aadmi ki aasha ne sun liya.
Kama, main tumhe keh raha hoon, mere paas aao.
Kama, hum jo chahte hain uske liye tere liye yeh bhog bana rahe hain. Yeh sab kaam ho jaye, poora ho jaye. Phir is bhog ka hissa le lo. Swaha.
No. Kāma here is broader: the cosmic impulse that drives creation and attainment. The hymn applies that power to prosperity, success, and fulfilment of aims, not only romance.
Akṣaya means “unfailing” or “imperishable.” The hymn seeks gains that do not diminish—stable prosperity or success that remains secure.
Traditionally it culminates in a havis offering with svāhā (19.52.5). A household fire is ideal, but a minimal offering setup (lamp/fire substitute) with clear dedication is often used in practice when a full rite is not possible.
